Winner of several prizes as Best in Show - Octopussy
Igår kom vi tilbake etter en flott og innholdsrik tur til Birmingham. I år bodde vi på Hilton Metropole Hotel og kunne gå til National Exhibition Centre - NEC. Med mye å bære på og vonde føtter tok vi likevel Shuttlebussen flere ganger. To hele dager brukte vi inne på området. Her fant vi mye flott å se, fikk ny inspirasjon og traff både nye og gamle venner. Lørdagen tok vi toget til sentrum av Birmingham og koset oss gatelangs. Her fikk vi med oss gatelivet, torghandel, ødelagte butikkvinduer og bryllup. Engelskmenn er hyggelige folk og vi hadde en alle tiders tur. Spenningen var stor ved innveiing av bagasje på hjemreisen, men jeg kunne faktisk handlet 300 gram mer...
Back again after some great days at The Festival of Quilts - Birmingham. A lot to see, a lot to shop, meeting good friends, eating good food, a lot of laughing. On Saturday we took the train to the center of Birmingham and had a wonderful time there. Going home on Sunday I discovered that I actually could bought 300 grams more fabrics...
